Worship Team

Worship Team works with the pastor to create dynamic, meaningful worship experiences, seeks to engage congregants as active participants in worship, and educates the larger congregation on the function of worship in exercising our collective faith.

Hospitality Team

The Hospitality Team creates a welcoming and generous culture for those within and those visiting GPC, and educates the larger congregation on the necessity of hospitality in exercising our faith.

Spiritual Development Team

Spiritual Development Team is a collaborative of three teams: Children's Spiritual Development, Youth Spiritual Development, and Adult Spiritual Development.  Each team is responsible for planning engaging and meaningful opportunities for the spiritual development of all ages, collectively focusing on deepening the congregation's understanding and commitment to being agents of hope, joy, and transformation in the world.

Mission Ministries Team

The Mission Ministries Team works closely with our three mission partners: Kairos Prison Ministry; The H.O.P.E. Institute for homeless, veteran women; and a missionary connected with Serving In Mission, located in South Sudan. Mission Ministries also facilitates unique service opportunities like Angel Tree, Operation Christmas Child, and others, while also educating the larger congregation on the function of mission and service in relationship to our faith.

Board of Deacons

The Board of Deacons is one of two elected boards. The Deacons lead our congregation in identifying and responding to the need that exists both within our congregation and in our larger community. Where the Session of Elders leads in vision, the Board of Deacons leads in action, while also inspiring and motivating the congregation to meet the needs they experience in the day to day life of faith.

Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women (PW) offers women in the church meaningful ways to live out their faith in the midst of a caring community of women. For more than 200 years, Presbyterian Women’s groups have strengthened the Presbyterian Church and played a major role in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and witnessing to the promise of God’s kingdom.

Northeast Community Food Pantry

One of the largest food pantries in El Paso, the Northeast Community Food Pantry (NECFP), in partnership with El Pasoans Fighting Hunger, provides nutritional assistance to all people in need in the community.

Community Development Team

The Community Development Team partners with people and organizations in and around northeast El Paso to develop inclusive engagement that feeds the minds, bodies, and souls of those living in the community.

Administrative Ministries

Administrative Ministries Team is a collaborative of the teams that ensure the successful administration of our church business and assets, as well as our ad hoc and administrative teams that meet only upon occasion.  It consists of the Finance Team, Personnel, Building and Grounds, and Stewardship Teams.

Session of Elders

The Session of Elders is one of two elected boards.  The Session is responsible for directing the vision, discerning God's calling, and nurturing the spiritual growth of the congregation as a whole.  All Ministry Teams report to Session.
